I'm a Hero. What are some safety tips I can follow?

1. Speak to the customer on the phone

Before you take a job with a customer, speak to them on the phone and ask questions about the job. If the customer sounds suspicious or refuses to speak on the phone, you do not have to accept the job. Only accept jobs within your regular working hours.

Trust your intuition: if you don’t feel right about a job, don’t accept it!

 

2. Tell a friend, family member or colleague

Tell a friend, family member or colleague the following details when you go on a job:

  • Location
  • Date and time
  • Expected number of work hours

 

3. Keep a copy of your important documents with you

Keep a photocopy of a form of identification with you. Acceptable documents are:

  • Identification Card (IC)
  • Passport
  • Driver’s licence

Also, remember to wear your lanyard and ServisHero ID with the emergency contact numbers.
